Welcome to the Digital Scriptorum, the words-and-images workshop of Gymnofrater, the Naked Monk ("Gymnos," if you like), an incarnational contemplative, archetypal storycrafter and digital illuminator.

I've set up The Digital Scriptorum for a variety of reasons:

(1) to chronicle my journey as I create images that tell stories and stories that provoke a profound remembrance of healing, archetypal themes;

(2) to celebrate and remember the images, words, ideas which inspire me;

(3) to ponder, reflect upon and test various methods for crafting story and image - and the weaving of them together; and

(4) to invite along companions on my journey so that we might inspire each other to worthy work and help each other up the rocks and through the muck which will inevitably make the path more interesting.
